IRG - Institut de Recherche en Gestion
The Management Research Institute of the University of Paris-Est is a research unit that brings together all the teacher-researchers who work on management science disciplines.
Since the merger of the IRG of Créteil and the PRISM team of Marne la Vallée in 2010, the scientific identity of the IRG has been built on the theme of Management and Society by orienting its work in a reflexive perspective. The reflexive perspective of the work carried out allows us to contribute to the evolution of the discipline by analysing and proposing alternative management models.
The work in progress is grouped around the following three themes:
- Performance and responsibility
- Service companies and services to society
- Innovations, transformations and resistance
Located in Cité Descartes, La Centrif is the University Third Place, hosting events and welcoming students, professors, enterprises and entrepreneurs, associations, etc.
It’s name is the French abbreviation of “centrifugeuse” (centrifuge), it reflects its objective of bringing together all kind of actors and creating value through this cohabitation.
The variety of events held since its creation and the different services reflect it’s various objectives: pedagogy, digital world, Mooc, co-working, etc.
